Cyber Reconnaissance, Inc. (CYR3CON), which sells platform subscriptions to its SaaS-based solution to predict cyber threats, recently added former Cisco executive, serial entrepreneur turned VC, Mohsen Moazami to its advisory board.
Mr. Moazami brings over 30 years of experience in multiple security and technology roles – including Corporate VP at Cisco where he was last on the leadership team for emerging markets – the fastest growing part of Cisco during his tenure. Mohsen also started multiple technology companies including Stanford Business Systems that saw successful exits and more recently, in venture capital with a focus on technology and security.
CYR3CON recently launched a novel assessment for enterprises powered by its platform – called a FIT (Find Ignored Threats) Assessment. CYR3CON has repeatedly demonstrated that a FIT Assessment, which entails a review of an enterprise’s vulnerabilities, reveals threats that even some of the world’s top security teams were not aware. CYR3CON’s platform is able to deliver these results through a combination of AI and data mined from hacker communities. Mr. Moazami will play a pivotal role in advising the company on growth and go-to-market strategy.
“CYR3CON is proving that AI can be a game changer in security. They already have multiple Fortune 500 clients and they are seeing everyone renew. The novel combination of AI and threat data is allowing them to find threats that teams are ignoring – bringing efficiency and thoroughness to security,” stated Mr. Moazami.
Mr. Moazami also described how CYR3CON technology can be of impact. “When you look at a breach like Equifax, the security team knew of the vulnerability. If they used CYR3CON, they would have known that there was an imminent threat. Enterprises do this all the time – its just an issue of resources. CYR3CON’s use of AI directly addresses this challenge.”
“We are really excited to have Mohsen join CYR3CON. He brings a wealth of industry experience and will help us accelerate our sales efforts with enterprise clients – especially in light of our recent venture financing. He is the exact right person to help us bring new innovations at the company like our FIT Assessment into the hands of enterprise clients,” CYR3CON CEO Paulo Shakarian stated.
CYR3CON recently completed a financing round, raising $8.2 million in capital. The company is also seeing an exciting market response to its new FIT Assessment which highlights imminent threats to enterprises that are often ignored.
